Apartment Jasmin 1 is situated in the Veysonnaz mountain resort, which is part of the lovely Wallis/ Valais region of Switzerland. Wallis/ Valais region lays in the South-West of Switzerland, stretching for 150 km (93 miles) along with the narrow ribbon of the Rhone Valley between the Rhone Glacier and Lake Leman, Geneva. Wallis/ Valais offers an amazing diversity of landscapes – within a few kilometres, there are the highest glaciers and mountains of the Alps and almost subtropical places where even almond and pomegranate trees grow. The diversity of its landscape, flora, and fauna, and culture is reflected in the wide range of the Valais’ tourist offers: fashionable sports resorts, a water paradise for children, courses to make golfers’ dreams come true, oases of well-being, and a Mecca for hikers during summer and winter months.

   The apartment is located in the Center of the year-long open summer and winter resort of Veysonnaz and at the heart of the well known 4 Valley ski region in Wallis/ Valais. This apartment is the ideal holiday accommodation for one or even two families spending the holiday together. All stores, restaurants, cafe’s, the Mountain View swimming pool, and the Wellness Center are just across the street. The Ski lift and everything else you need is within walking distance. Thanks to its location and facilities “Jasmin 01” is a popular accommodation with vacationers who love fresh mountain air, hiking, skiing, biking, skydiving, or peddling on the blue mountain lakes. The apartment is spacious, has 4 bedrooms, 2 modern bathrooms, a wooden Swiss bar, and a royal corner garden giving you a breathtaking panorama view of the mountains, the Rhone valley, and the beautiful turquoise Swiss mountain lakes. A total of 10 people can sleep here. The breathtaking views can not only be enjoyed from your own corner garden but also from the generous living room with its 3 big glassed doors and windows. You can enjoy a delicious local wine at the wooden bar in the living room while gazing at the mountain landscapes and the many vineyards across the Rhone valley. One of the two double bedrooms has its own en suite bathroom while your guests can make use of the second bathroom. The other two bedrooms have each 2 bunk beds and are ideal for the children. There is plenty of storage place for your personal belongings and clothes in the well designed wooden furniture and closets that complete the apartment together with the rest of the high-quality couches and sofa’s at put at your disposal. This special holiday accommodation has a washing machine, clothes dryer, dishwasher, microwave, refrigerator, freezer, 2 vacuum cleaners, and all the other needed modern appliances. This holiday apartment has a nice kitchen with amenities just like home. You can watch television together or use the DVD player to watch a movie.

The apartment offers the luxury of having 2 private parking spots for your exclusive use during the stay. One of the parking spots is in front of the apartment building and the other one is just in front of the Ski lift, which gives you quick and comfortable access to the mountain adventure without having to carry any heavy materials to the SKI lift before starting your ski, snow board or hiking endeavour. How to reach our apartment

By car:

The Jasmin 1 apartment can be reached by car from Utrecht, The Netherlands. It is just under 1.000 km and approximately 10 hours drive. If you decide to drive, please remember that in Switzerland you will need a motorway sticker (buy sticker).
For those who prefer not to drive the whole distance in one day there are sufficient possibilities to spend some time in one of the touristic cities that you will pass along the way. The trip will lead you via Brussel, Luxembourg, Colmar, Bazel, Bern to Veyzonnaz. We can recommend a stay over in the historic city of Colmar. Only 6,5 hours from Utrecht and just 3,5 hours drive from the apartment. The Novotel Suites Colmar Centre is a very nice place to stay and it is situated directly in the city centre. Rooms are available for around EUR 100 per night.

By plane:

Flying to Switzerland by plane is also possible. The flight takes about 1,5 hour to the airport of Geneva, which is the closest airport to the apartment (approx. 170km). Direct flights from Schiphol Airport are available from approximately EUR 125 with Easyjet.
We recommend to rent a car at the airport, it is a 2 hour drive to the apartment and will lead you alongside the nice scenic route of Lac Léman. All the main car rental companies are present at the airport. A medium sized family car (Citroen C5 or similar) with unlimited mileage will cost around CHF400 per week.
